hi helen
"A student is eligible for the HOPE Scholarship regardless of the number of
credit hours for which he or she is Enrolled during a school term. Half-Time
or Full-Time Enrollment is not a requirement."

As soon as I get the ok from Shelby, I'm dropping my Philosophy class and returning the text book. It shouldn't effect my GPA, student assistant position, or HOPE scholarship. This class is really not helping me not slip back into depression. It's usually easy to avoid, but this class is casting a huge shadow. Better to drop it and have a W than get a C and a fresh case of depression.

But the good news is that the tailcoat is sorta close to being done, then I need to fix my skirt and weight my hood. Also, I need to cut and bleach my hair. I think we'll be ready for Dragon Con then.

Costumes:
-Steampunk pin-up girl
-Steampunk (Pandora Swift)
-Grace O'Malley (for the pirate party)
-Courtney Crumrin
-Draco Malfoy
-Little Red Riding Hood

No schedule as to when I'm wearing what.

D'oh, knew I was forgetting something! Ok, yeah, but I vote we hang out at my place and you bring your hair stuff. I can put Ian to work while we do hair and talk and hang out. Have you seen Dark Knight? Would you like to?

So, does your Outlanders group need a pet canine? ;)

I'm thinking YES. I want to kidnap you to Dragon con. You have to come next year.
Oh, and yay for the Crystal Ball! Do you want to do another paired costume?

I was thinking we'd do another one, yes. I had plans to bust out an originally designed Queen Mab costume with the pieces for my much more intricate Mab costume I've got planned for Labyrinth or another HP con. You ever seen the Merlin Hallmark miniseries that ran in 1999? With Sam Neil and Miranda Richardson? That's the Mab I'm going for.

You can be my young Merlin? :D But I'm opened to suggestions, really.

hmmmm, let me meditate on that one. I ma trying to remember J.M. Barrie's mentions of fairies in The Little White Bird and if there's anything there I'd like to do. If not, I'll move on to Shakespeare and then on to celtic myth.

Or we can be boring and show up as Harry and Ginny?

What about Morgan Le Fay?

Courtney Crumrin

Oh hey you do look like her. Except you have a nose. I like people with noses. I kept wanting to vandalize my friend's Courtney Crumrin books my drawing noses on 'em.

I contemplated making those paper finger claws for my hands, because the artist always draws claw-ish hands. But I don't want to have to explain it every time people ask.

HA! Oh, I like it.
Maybe you could just wear really long sharpened stick-on nails? Less perplexing to random strangers.

Dammit, now you're rekindling my crush on Skarrow. Mrph.

Philosophy big questions, Bedard.
I'm just really not feeling it.

Aww. I'm sorry to hear that.

I've actually never seen Brandie teach, but she's pretty cool to take classes with.

She seems like she'd be cool to hang out with, but I don't want to take her class.

Could you send a short email from that address. My computer took a email list dump when switching programs and lost many addresses.

We're going to see The Dark Knight right now, but I will send it over either later or tomorrow.

Yeah, I agree with your decision to drop Philosophy. Frankly, i was so disappointed with my only philosophy department class at UCLA (and UCLA has one of the top philosophy departments). I studied philosophy a lot better in tandem with my literature classes, where it is a lot more interesting and doesn't make you go crazy at the same time.

I still haven't seen the Dark Knight, and I need to. I've been wanting to see it at IMAX, but no one wants to watch it with me except Sofia, and it's been so difficult arranging time to meet with her.

I think Ian will have to go see it alone, I don't have time, nor do I really care too terribly.

I hated (and thus, did poorly at) the Phil classes I foolishly took.
