Shirley Katz, who I called Nana, died today midday. She was 90. She will be missed.

I lost my grandmother last year to lung cancer. It's definitely a weird void because nothing will ever be able to fill it. In her honor I choked down a cup of decaf folger's while doing a crossword. It was cathartic and I felt closer to her because of it.
